“A large measure brings great blessings.” If the measure is too small, where will the blessing come from? Without blessing, where would wisdom come from? “Blessing comes to the soul.” When a person is blessed, his wisdom is right in front of him. Blessings and wisdom are often related. Real blessings contain wisdom, are big-hearted, tolerant, and can hold everything. We must learn to suffer losses in our daily life.
「量大福大」，量太小，哪來的福報？ 沒有福，哪來的智慧？ 「福至心靈」，人有大福，他的智慧就在現前。 福跟慧常常有連帶關係，真正的福報裡面有智慧，肚量大，能包容，什麼都包得下。
“Suffering losses is a blessing.” Don’t be afraid of losing money or being fooled, and decide not to take advantage. If you think about taking advantage of others, that’s wrong.
在日常生活當中要學吃虧，「吃虧是福」。 不怕吃虧，不怕上當，決定不能佔便宜；念念想佔別人便宜，那就錯了。
Being able to accept criticism from others happily, whether it is well-intentioned or malicious, whether it is slander, insult, or even frame-up, what should we learn here? Learn to have a pure mind, an equal mind, no resentment, no anger, and no thoughts of revenge.
能夠歡喜接受別人的批評，不論他是善意、是惡意，毀謗也好、侮辱也好，甚至於陷害，在這裡頭學什麼？ 學清淨心、平等心，沒有怨恨，沒有瞋恚，決定沒有報復的念頭。
“The pericardium is too empty, and the surrounding sand world is measured.” What is that? We must know that our original size of mind is the same for everyone, and the size of our mind is as big as the void Dharma Realm. A great amount brings great blessing. Who has the greatest blessing?
「心包太虛，量周沙界」。 那是什麼？ 我們本來的心量，我們一定要知道，每個人都是一樣的，心量都是跟虛空法界一樣大。 量大福大，誰的福最大？
After all, perfection is something that is inherent in one’s own nature and does not come from the outside. Everyone has immeasurable wisdom and immeasurable merit, which are inherent in the self-nature. There is nothing outside the self-nature. We do not need to pursue the dirt that does not belong to us, the garbage in the soil.
究竟圓滿是自性裡頭本來有的，不是外頭來的。 人人都有無量智慧、無量福德，那是自性裡頭本有的，自性之外什麼都沒有，我們不須要追求那些不屬於自己的污垢，那些層土里的垃圾。
